Pyometra

Pyometra can be treated successfully medically and it is possible to retain fertility. We have successfully treating pyometra for 30 years.

Spaying is not definitely needed.

The prognosis depends on the age of the bitch and other diseases of the uterus.

The treatment does take 7 to 10 days so takes a strong commitment to future breeding and aftercare.
